Job Description

This position reports to the Director of Human Resources and is responsible for supporting recruiting efforts throughout the organization. The Staffing Coordinator will work directly with departmental managers to support their hiring initiatives. In addition, this individual will work with the HR team on various administrative projects.

Primary Objectives:

  • Respond to all incoming applications using the provided timeline
  • Provide constant communication to Department Managers with regard to applicants
  • Coordinate onboarding for all new employees
  • Recordkeeping and administrative duties
  • Maintain knowledge of Northtown’s HR Policies as well as any applicable labor laws
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of HR Department; Applicants and Employees
  • Promote the company image to all applicants

Duties:

  • Primary responsibility is sourcing and contacting applicants
  • Coordinate with marketing department to advertise positions
  • Phone screen; interview; process background information for applicants
  • Document results of all interviews (phone and in person)
  • Forward applicant information to appropriate managers
  • Lead weekly onboarding sessions for new employees
  • Maintain accurate and up to date applicant tracking database
  • Generate weekly reporting on recruiting efforts
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external clients to ensure staffing goals are met
  • Coordinate monthly Orientation sessions for all new employees
  • File applicant information in HR systems and assist with general departmental filing
  • Attend job fairs if needed to support HR/Marketing initiatives
  • Assist HR Department with any projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and follow up skills
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationships at all levels in the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment
  • Proficiency with Excel; Power Point and Outlook
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
